Not your standard talk therapy
Good therapy—the kind that can help you change your life and become the person you’re meant to be—requires action. This is why my therapeutic approach is action-oriented. Together, we will not only explore the reasons behind your challenges but also focus on the practical steps needed to create lasting change. I will help you identify, understand, and replace dysfunctional patterns of thinking, feeling, and behavior. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I encourage open client feedback throughout our work together.
My experience includes working in community mental health, residential care for adolescents, and private practice. Before becoming a therapist, I was a special education teacher in private and charter schools. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and identity issues related to gender, sexuality, and adoption. My extensive work with children and adolescents also equips me to offer valuable support to parents navigating the complexities of raising children with special needs or emotional and behavioral challenges.
I have received advanced training in attachment-based family therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, and Gestalt therapy.
